A rare Blaemire (of Hal Blaine concert tom menagerie fame) natural fiberglass kit with perfect 60s Rogers hardware. Inappropriately touched the drum nerd in me.
The ubiquitous Ronn Dunnett and his traveling stainless steel revival show.
$699.00?! It aint' custom and it ain't vintage, but it also ain't a Tama Rockstar. Nice going, Ludwig.
Oh, Raffle Girl...I am looking for you...

Looks vintage to me. Throw in the sticks for $1500? Deal.
Very cool coffee table book with great photos and self-bios of both well-known and not-so-well-known drummers. Speaking at length with author, Jules Follett, it was clear that she both gets and appreciates the unique bond that exists within the drum community at large. The book is dedicated to the memory of prominent drum photographer, Lissa Wales.
Oh, there you are.
Before the Cindy Blackman clinic, Crutch receives a monogramed throne. Or something.
Cindy Blackman has phenomenal hair, and is a phenomenal drummer. After documenting the history of drumming and giving due credit to Jo Jones for first riding on the sock
cymbals, and Art Blakey for inventing the sizzle cymbal, the dazed crowd went dead silent. No questions? O.K. I guess I'll just play a bit then.
30 minutes later, and I finally had to leave. Sorry, Cindy.
A great show. Thanks, Kerry.
